Why We Love the Imperial Point Neighborhood of Seminole and Largo

Are you thinking about a move to Florida or the Pinellas County area and looking for a neighborhood that's just minutes to the Gulf Beaches, surrounded by top-rated schools, and full of community amenities? Then look no further! The Imperial Point Neighborhood located in the Seminole/Largo area of Pinellas County checks off all these boxes!
This neighborhood consists of over 350 single-family homes and 250 condos. Prefer a townhouse? It's bordered by the well-known townhouse community of Tara Cay too. Established in the late 1960's, residents absolutely rave about living here. For starters, this neighborhood is just across the Intracoastal Waterway from Indian Rocks Beach and Indian Shores Beach. Just a quick 5 minute drive over the Walsingham Bridge and residents can bask in the sun on some of Florida's most beautiful beaches!

Imperial Point is a unique deed-restricted neighborhood in that it's full of community amenities that come along with the HOA fees each resident is required to pay (they're currently about $800 per year for single-family home residents at the time of publication). The community's most loved amenity is the waterfront Olympic-sized swimming pool that overlooks the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway as residents swim, lounge under umbrellas at the picnic tables, and watch their kids play on the adjacent playground structure. If that doesn't sound dreamy enough, there's also a clubhouse residents can reserve for events, tennis courts, a teen room, pickleball court, fishing dock and more!

The majority of homes in this community are single-story block ranchers built in the 1970's, with average size lots and many with private swimming pools in the backyard as well. Homes in this neighborhood often sell quickly and for top dollar. In the past year (2023), the median sale price for a single-family home in this neighborhood was $585,000 with the average size of a single family home just over 2,000 sq ft. The highest single family home sale in over the past 12 months was $735,000 for a beautifully updated, 2,286 sq ft, 4-bedroom home with a private swimming pool. For condos located in this community, the median sale price in the past 12 months was $255,500 with an average size of 980 sq ft. The highest condo sale in the past year was for $397,000 for an 1,100 sq ft unit with an updated kitchen, new tile floors, and fabulous water views.
