Holiday Party Cocktails We Love

Crafting up fancy cocktails always puts us in a good mood! If you've been planning that perfect holiday party, family get together, or want to host a simple happy hour with friends, then we have the perfect list of easy and delicious cocktails that will be the hit of the night!

The Cosmopolitan - Sandy Hartmann's Favorite!

Ingredients

1/2 oz Citrus vodka

1 oz Cointreau

1/2 oz Fresh lime juice

1 dash Cranberry juice

Garnish: Lime wheel

Add all liquids into a shaker with ice (filled at least half way with ice) and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel, cranberries, orange peel, or whatever makes you feel festive!

Southside- a Favorite of Andrea Hartmann (Managing Partner)

Ingredients

2 oz of Gin

1 oz of Lime Juice

¾ oz of Simple Syrup (Buy it at any grocer/liquor store or make it yourself!)

Splash of Club Soda

1 Sprig of Mint (at least 5 leaves)

1 Fresh Mint Leaf for Garnish

Combine gin, lime juice, simple syrup and sprig of mint in a shaker. Muddle the mint with a long-handled spoon. Add enough ice to fill the shaker halfway, shake and pour into a high ball or rocks glass. Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with the mint leaf.  

Frozen Peach Bellini Cocktail (Serves 4- perfect for brunch!)

Ingredients

1 cup frozen peaches

1/4 cup peach schnapps

1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup ice cubes

1 bottle champagne or prosecco

Instructions

Add the peaches, schnapps, sugar, and the ice cubes to a blender. Blend until smooth. 

Divide the mixture among 4 champagne flutes and top off each glass with champagne. 

Stir gently to combine if desired. Serve immediately.

Cucumber Margarita- Laurie Chase's Favorite (Listing Agent) 

Ingredients

2 oz Silver (blanco) Tequila

¾ oz Agave Nectar

¾ oz Cointreau

2 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

1/3 of a Cucumber, diced into ½ inch chunks with seeds removed.

Salt for Rim of Margarita Glass (Optional)

Instructions

Blend cucumber chunks until smooth in a blender or small food processor & set aside. Mix tequila, agave, Cointreau & lime juice together in a shaker. Add 2 tablespoons of the cucumber puree to the shaker. Shake well and pour over ice.

Espresso Martini- Recommended by Mike Hall (Buyer's Agent)

Ingredients

1⅓ oz Vodka

⅔ oz Kahlúa

⅔ oz Espresso (brew and let it cool)

3 Whole Coffee Beans

Ice Cubes

Instructions

Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with coffee beans.

*Prepare the espresso coffee beforehand and let it chill. That will help to minimize the dilution, make your drink colder and even tastier!

The Real Mojito – Drink of choice for Jesse Templeton (Director of Operations) 

Ingredients

10 fresh mint leaves

1/2 lime, cut into 4 wedges

2 tablespoons white sugar, or to taste

1 cup ice cubes

1 1/2 fluid ounces white rum (Not the dark or spiced stuff!)

1/2 cup club soda

Instructions

Place mint leaves and 1 lime wedge into a sturdy glass. Use a muddler to crush the mint and lime to release the mint oils and lime juice (don’t skip the muddling!). Add 2 more lime wedges and the sugar, and muddle again to release the lime juice. Do not strain the mixture. Fill the glass almost to the top with ice. Pour the rum over the ice, and fill the glass with carbonated water. 

Whiskey Ginger Cocktail

Ingredients (“Simple, like buying a home with us!”)

Ice

2 fl oz Ginger ale

2 fl oz whiskey

Cinnamon Stick for Garnish

Instructions

Fill a tall cocktail glass with ice. Stir in whiskey and ginger ale, place cinnamon stick on top of ice.

Mudslide – Yuliya Gallimore's Choice (Closing Coordinator and Realtor)

Ingredients

1⁄2 fluid ounce Kahlua

1⁄2 fluid ounce Baileys Irish Cream

1⁄2 fluid ounce vodka

1 fluid ounce milk

Instructions

In a shaker or small pitcher, mix together all ingredients. Fill a tall glass with ice & pour ingredients over the ice and stir. Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup to make it even more like a dessert!
